Save Point
For minds that lose the thread

Most tools restore your files. Save Point restores where your thinking left off.

An AI re-entry tool for neurodivergent students. Save your train of thought in one tap — come back to exactly where your head was, not just where your tabs were.

Saving your place…
You know this moment

You're deep in an assignment. Three sources open, you've half-decided something, you know the next sentence you want to write. Then your phone buzzes, or someone calls your name, and you're gone.

Twenty minutes later you sit back down. The tabs are all still there — but your head is empty. You can't remember why you opened them, what you'd decided, or what you were about to do. So you'd have to rebuild all of it from scratch. And that's so tiring that, a lot of the time, you just… don't. The assignment dies right there.

That's the problem Save Point removes. You didn't lose your files. You lost your place in your own thinking — and that's the thing it hands back.

One next step, not a wall.

It hands you a single doable action — because when you're overwhelmed, one clear move is what gets you going again.

It catches the stray thread.

It surfaces the side-thought you were juggling — the branch an average tool (and your tired brain) would drop.

It admits when it's unsure.

When it can't tell where you left off, it asks you one question instead of confidently inventing a wrong answer — because a wrong “here's where you were” is worse than none.

Here's what that looks like.

The shift

When you're interrupted, your files survive. Your train of thought doesn't.

What other tools bring back

biology_report.docsource A — journalsource B — .eduwhat is peer review?youtubecitation generatorgmailsource C?

Everything you had open. None of what you were thinking.

What Save Point brings back

Write two sentences on why Source B is more reliable.
You'd already decided B was stronger. One step, and you're back in.
The problem

You don't lose the assignment. You lose why you were reading this, which idea you'd ruled out, and what you were about to write next.

Rebuilding that mental structure from cold is the expensive part — and when it costs too much, you just don't go back. That's not a focus problem to fix. It's a cost problem to remove. Save Point doesn't ask you to concentrate harder or get interrupted less. It holds the thread for you, so stepping away stops being a punishment. Your deep focus is the thing worth protecting — not the thing to apologize for.

How it works

Three steps. Nothing to learn.

Step 1

Save your state

One tap. Add a quick note by voice or text if you want — or don't. Saving never interrupts you.

Step 2

Get interrupted. Leave.

Life happens. Close the tab, walk away, come back in an hour or tomorrow. No timers, no guilt.

Step 3

Restore your thinking

Come back to one clear next step, where you were, and what you'd figured out — not a wall of windows.

What makes it different

Built for how your mind actually works — down to the last detail.

One next step, first

The screen leads with a single physical action small enough to just start. Everything else stays folded away.

It asks when unsure

When the AI can't tell where you left off, it asks you one question instead of inventing a confident wrong answer.

Reads the way you need

A dyslexia-friendly font, larger text, and reduced motion — one tap, remembered for next time.

Saves from anywhere

A desktop browser extension lets you drop a save point from any page, deep in dozens of tabs. It restores back here, in the calm.

Never watched

No background monitoring, no history scraping. It only captures the moment you choose to save. That's the whole point.

No shame, no clock

It never tells you how long you were gone or that you fell behind. Just a quiet way back in.

Who it's for

Made for neurodivergent students, from the inside.

Save Point was designed by an ADHD student who kept losing the thread every time work got interrupted — and got tired of tools that treat that like a character flaw. If your focus runs deep but interruptions cost you everything, this was built for the way your mind actually works, not an average one.

Nothing about us,
without us.

Designed from lived neurodivergent experience.

Questions

Fair things to ask.

A snapshot of where your head is — your goal, what you'd decided, and what's next. Not your files (your browser already keeps those), but the reasoning that connected them. You make one in a tap when you have to step away.

No. There's no background monitoring, no history scraping, no keylogging. Save Point only reads what's in front of you at the exact moment you choose to save — and nothing otherwise. That restraint is deliberate.

Saving is one deliberate tap, because a save made at a meaningful moment is worth far more than an automatic one made at random. When you reopen the workspace, it quietly offers to restore your last point — it never forces a wall of information on you.

The workspace itself does — it's a normal responsive site, sign in and use it like any other page. The browser extension doesn't; Chrome extensions don't run on any mobile browser, that's an Apple/Google restriction, not a choice this build made. There's a bookmarklet fallback that captures the same way the extension does (title, selection, a short snippet) from your phone's browser — see the Docs page for it.

Managed school devices often disable Developer Mode entirely, which blocks unpacked extensions like this one (it isn't on the Chrome Web Store yet). The bookmarklet works around this the same way it works around no mobile extensions — it needs no Developer Mode and no store, just a bookmark. See the Docs page's mobile section.

It's built to hedge, not bluff. Each part of a restore is marked by how sure the AI is: certain things it states, unsure things it phrases as a question you answer with one tap. When it barely has anything to go on, it says so and asks — instead of writing a confident wrong story about your own mind.

Yes. Save Point runs on a free AI model and free-tier hosting. No card, no subscription.
